Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Kaala website or mobile application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Kaala provides Hindu Panchang (almanac) data, Vedic astrology information, festival calendars, and related spiritual content, calculated based on your location and the date. Some features (such as Kundli generation) require creating an account.

You may create an account using an email and password, or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including via scraping, bots, or excessive automated requests.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity.

Panchang, muhurta, Kundli, horoscope, and all other astrological content provided by Kaala is for informational and spiritual/cultural reference purposes only. It is based on traditional Vedic astronomical calculations and does not constitute professional, medical, legal, financial, or any other form of expert advice. See our Disclaimer for more detail.

Your own Kundli is free. Generating a Kundli for a family member or friend costs a one-time ₹1 per Kundli, inclusive of taxes. There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges. Payments are processed in INR by our payment gateway, Razorpay; we do not receive or store your card, UPI, or bank details.

Kundlis are digital goods delivered to your account immediately on successful payment. Cancellation and refund eligibility — including duplicate charges and payments taken without delivery — is set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

All content, design, branding, and code on Kaala — excluding third-party scriptural or public-domain texts we present — is owned by Kaala or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute Kaala's content or software without permission.

Kaala is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kaala and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including any decisions made based on Panchang, muhurta, or astrology content presented on the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
