This page shows all eight day Choghadiya and all eight night Choghadiya for Indore today. The windows are derived from Indore's own local sunrise and sunset, so they are exact for this city rather than a generic regional estimate.

Amrit, Shubh and Labh are considered auspicious, with Amrit the most favourable — suitable for any important undertaking. Char is neutral: good for travel and movement, but not for beginning something new. Udveg, Kaal and Rog are considered inauspicious.

The period from sunrise to sunset is divided into eight equal parts, and sunset to the next sunrise into eight more. The day's first window is the one ruled by that weekday's planetary lord — Sunday opens with Udveg (Sun), Monday with Amrit (Moon), and so on — after which the sequence cycles in a fixed order.

They are separate systems that happen to divide the same day into eight parts, and they are not derived from one another. Because of that they can point at the same window: on some weekdays Rahu Kaal falls exactly on a Choghadiya that is itself classed as auspicious. Kaala shows both independently and does not attempt to reconcile them — traditionally Rahu Kaal is avoided for important work regardless of the Choghadiya it coincides with.
